We built what should have always existed.

Bèbèdí started with a woman noticing something. Not a lab result or a market gap, just the daily experience of a body that changes constantly, without explanation.
The waist bead tradition is thousands of years old. Worn across West Africa and carried into diasporas across the world, these beads were never purely decorative. They were a form of body literacy. Women noticed when their beads tightened. When the fit changed overnight. When something felt different and the beads confirmed it before a doctor could.
Wellness technology
had ignored this.
Wearables were built for athletes. The tools that existed assumed women wanted to optimise, when what most women actually wanted was to understand. Bèbèdí was built to close that gap. A wearable designed specifically for women's bodies, worn at the waist, the place where so much of body change is felt, and paired with an app that speaks in plain language, not dashboard data.

We've spent years in research and iteration.
Surveying women across age groups and geographies. Testing sensor combinations. Designing and discarding prototypes. Building an intelligence layer that doesn't just track but interprets.
Patents filed. A growing waitlist. A team of women and technologists who care deeply about getting this right.

Fluctuation is not failure.
Your body changes because it's alive, because it's responding to the world around you.
We believe those changes carry meaning and that women deserve tools that help them understand it.
Bèbèdí is not here to tell you what to do. It's here to help you know yourself better.
