About Us

Bèbèdí was built from this blend of heritage and innovation.
Inspired by centuries-old adornment and designed for the way women truly live: in phases, in movement, in subtle shifts. We didn’t set out to build another gadget or performance tracker, we created a wearable that respects the body’s signals and helps women listen to their bodies.
Bèbèdí sits softly at the waist, listening to the body the way women always have through rhythm, temperature, energy, and flow. It translates these signals into gentle insights that help women move through their days with awareness and understanding.
Your body already knows. Bèbèdí helps you listen.

A note from the founder
For years, I noticed changes in my body that were hard to explain.
Low energy. Shifts in my weight. Tension that came and went. Changes in mood that didn’t always have an obvious cause. I didn’t always have the language for what was happening, but my waist beads noticed before I did. They tightened. They loosened. They shifted with stress, hormones, and different phases of my life.
That observation stayed with me.
I began to wonder why so many tools designed to help us “understand our bodies” felt disconnected from how women actually experience them day to day. Most solutions focused on optimisation, performance, or extremes, not the subtle, everyday changes many of us notice but struggle to interpret.
Bèbèdí grew from that gap.
It’s shaped by lived experience, cultural context, and ongoing conversations with women who want a calmer, more intuitive way to understand what their bodies are doing without turning themselves into projects.
My team and I are building Bèbèdí with that in mind. Not as a device that tells you what to do, but as a wearable that helps you pay attention to what’s already there. Something that sits at the waist, where many women first notice change and offers context rather than judgement.
Bèbèdí is still in development, but its purpose is clear: to support women in understanding everyday physical and emotional changes in a way that feels grounded, respectful, and realistic.
I’m glad you’re here, and I’m grateful to everyone helping shape what Bèbèdí is becoming.
